Indications
OC.
Dosage
1 tab daily from the 5th day of menstruation.
Contraindications
Thrombophlebitis, thromboembolic disorders or past history of these conditions; cerebrovascular disease or coronary artery disease; undiagnosed abnormal genital bleeding, known or suspected breast carcinoma, estrogen-dependent neoplasia or history of these conditions; liver tumor; pregnancy.
Precautions
Smoking, age; history of mental depression;liver impairment, cardiac or renal dysfunction, hypertension, uterine fibroids, diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, migraine; lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, spotting, breakthrough bleeding, changes in menstrual flow, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea during & after treatment, migraine & mental depression.
Interactions
Effcacy may be reduced by certain antibiotics, phenytoin, carbamazeping, barbiturates, rifampicin.
